District 123 Community Packs Meals for Local Families

Early Saturday morning Nearly 300 volunteers packed the Oak Lawn-Hometown Middle School gymnasium for the Annual Feed6 food packaging event! Students, families, and friends from neighboring school districts helped feed local food insecure families by packing the meals that consist of protein, carbs and other nutrients to keep them full. Through the event, 230 boxes totaling 50,000 meals were delivered to local food pantries this week.
